How it works

Good to know
- Works with PDFs that contain real text. Scanned pages are pictures and need OCR first.

Tips for bank statement PDFs
- Download the statement as a PDF from your online banking, not a photo or scan.
- Delete the header rows and the running-balance column if you only need transactions.
- Add a Category column, then use a pivot table or SUMIFS to total spending by category.
